Cannot take ownership of virtual machine after power failure

If your VM on VMware Workstation is locked (after Systemcrash etc.) you are not be able to start the VM in this state.

The following steps shows you to resolve this error:

1. Quit VMware Workstation / Fusion

2. Open Virtual Machine file location
3. Search for .lck / .lock files and/or  folders like this : M41831.lck or My_VM.vmdk.lck

4. Create a Backup folder and move all .lck / .lock files and folders in Backup folder
5. Open VMware Workstation and re-open the Virtual Machine again
6. Press Start button and have Fun
